Primary Market
DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). German is the primary language. Most content, marketing, and support is German-first. The 2026 strategic narrative explicitly positions 7Mind as “based in Germany” and leans heavily on “Made in Germany” credibility, healthcare partnerships (statutory insurance), and prevention positioning.
Active Locales
Beyond DACH, 7Mind has content and operations across:
- English (EN)
- Spanish (ES), with both ES-ES (Spain) and ES-MX (Mexico) variants
- Italian (IT)
These are the languages referenced in the cross-team Prompt Library (April 2026) and in the Customer Support setup for the international launch (FAQs / Help Center in EN, ES, IT).
International App Decision (2024)
The new 7Mind app launched in DACH end of Q1/25. A separate app store listing existed for Italy, Spain, and the UK. In September 2024 leadership decided to migrate international app users to the DACH app store listing post-DACH launch rather than maintaining two storefronts. The reasoning: one storefront reduces marketing targeting complexity, removes the need to maintain two app store fronts and two Chargebee plan sets, and limits long-term divergence.
Consequences engineers should know:
- International users must be able to access their data (favourites, history) inside the DACH app store listing.
- Some user churn was accepted as a cost of consolidation.
- The two Firebase projects were merged into one (“7mind-Flutter”) covering both DACH and INT (August 2025). DACH Android remains on
sevenmind-android-v2.
Subscription Group (iOS)
The iOS subscription group used after the relaunch is multi.7mind.apple.sub, with annual plan multi.7mind.apple.sub.yearly and a monthly plan. Country pricing is configured per market and tracked separately for INT vs. DACH.
Localization Tooling
A localization tool selection was decided as part of the DACH launch plan but the specific tool choice is tracked elsewhere in the Mobile Squad workspace. Stakeholder onboarding to that tool was a deliverable for the international launch. See flutter-app for current implementation conventions.
Expansion Notes for Agents
- New customer-facing copy should be authored to localize cleanly into DE, EN, ES-ES, ES-MX, and IT. Do not assume English-only consumers.
- Translation should adapt rather than be literal. Tone (warm, grounded, direct) must survive the locale change. See voice-and-tone.
- Health claims are subject to EU regulation. Anything that could read as medical or therapeutic must be reviewed before shipping in any market.
- Customer Support help centre is set up in English, Spanish, and Italian beyond the German default.
- DACH is the strategic growth market for 2026. Do not assume international expansion is being actively prioritized.
